The Sawfish
The Sawfish is a type of ray named for its long, saw-like snout, called a rostrum. They are very unusual-looking fish, and very large, and are very popular in aquariums; however, they are considered endangered in the wild.
Sawfish use their rostrum, which is covered in sensitive pores much like a shark's, to detect prey hiding in the sand, before smacking the prey to stun them before the sawfish feeds.
Although the sawfish usually moves at a calm, leisurely pace, they are capable of using their powerful rostrums to defend themselves, even being able to hold their own against sharks. Curious divers have been known to be on the recieving end of a sawfish's rostrum on occasion, but fatalities are rare.

HAVING BLUE EYES IS ACTUALLY A MUTATION. BEFORE THE MUTATION OCCURRED, ALL HUMANS HAD BROWN EYES.
“Originally, we all had brown eyes”, said Prof Hans Eiberg from the University of Copenhagen, who led the team.
Blue eye colour most likely originated from the near east area or northwest part of the Black Sea region, where the great agriculture migration to the northern part of Europe took place in the Neolithic periods about six–10,000 years ago.

Biggest Mango
The 30-centimeter long and 50-centimeter wide mango, owned by Sergio and Maria Socorro Bodiongan of Tubod village, Iligan City sets the new world record for the Biggest Mango.
Maria Socorro says that at harvest time, their mangoes typically weigh 1.5 to 2.5 kilograms, but they don’t sell them and instead give them away to friends.
The Bodiongans’ mango caught the eye of agriculture officials when the couple entered it in the Agriculture Department’s contest of the biggest of everything in Cagayan de Oro last September.
Suzie Roa of DA Region 10 said it was a feat for local agriculture. Roa said they have given the Bodiongan family cash incentives for the feat.
The World's Biigest Mango will be honored in separate resolutions at the House of Representatives and the Senate for proving that the Filipino can grow enormous mangoes, in this case.
Growers from Canada and other countries where mangoes are grown have hinted at the use of performance-enhancing fertilizers, but the Socorros denied this. “They are just jealous and want to keep the Filipino down,” they reportedly said.
The previous Guinness world record for the Biggest Mango was also a “Florida Keitt” variety, a 2.4-kilo mango of Collen Porter of Kailua-Kona in Hawaii.

The Mythical Kraken Could Be Real.
The Kraken is widely believed to have been inspired by a giant squid. That’s a little bit of a letdown, isn’t it? With eyes like beach balls, a giant squid is big for sure, but it lacks a certain . . . monstrosity. It’s not something we could see tearing a boat apart.
But recently a Colossal Squid was discovered in the Southern Ocean. It’s estimated to be about forty-six feet (fourteen meters) in length and its beak and eyes are bigger than that of a giant squid. What sets it apart from other squids: in addition to suckers, its limbs are lined with sharp hooks, some that swivel and others that have three points. Now that could do some damage.
