THERE IS A NEPALI BOY WHO PLANS ON MEDITATING FOREVER

THERE IS A NEPALI BOY WHO PLANS ON MEDITATING FOREVER
Some have said that Ram Bahadur Bomjom is a reincarnation of Buddha. However, Ram and many practitioners of Buddhism have denied this claim.
No, Ram is considered by himself and Buddhists to have entered nirvana-a profound peace of mind in which one is free from suffering-at least, when he is meditating.

He began his meditation on May 16 2005 in a hollow tree. He reportedly disappeared from the hollow tree on 16 March 2006, but was found by some followers a week later. He told them that he had left his meditation place because large crowds kept watching him and disturbing his peace. He then went on his own way, and was found meditating in Nepal on December 26 2006. He left Nepal on March 8 2007 for the same reason as last time, and was found meditating in a bunker-style ditch on March 26 2007.

To this day, he is roaming around. All he wants to do is find a place where he can sit, meditate, and thus remain in nirvana forever. Maybe the fact that he can’t find such a place really says something about the human condition.
