RUSSIA TO LAUNCH $1.5B SUPER LASER, WILL CREATE FUSION AT A BALMY 100 MILLIONS DEGREES FUSION BOMB
the government approved funding for a $ 1500000000 super high energy laser Russian Research Institute built its Experimental Physics, the site of all its nuclear research for the past 60 years.

The goal for the new project is to provide an environment for researchers to be able to test nuclear weapons without actually setting off another, and to look for a renewable source of energy.

With that having the United States and France super laser up and running, Russia is looking to pull even on a moving eerily similar to the nuclear arms race of the past.

Super Laser is used as a catalyst in inertial confinement fusion period (ICF) research. They are one of the high quality components in the effort to recreate the enormous energies that are moving around the star over and explosion caused by a hydrogen bomb DetoNation. They came about as a result of the Great Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty ratified in 1996 states that each undersigned agree that they do not carry any live testing nuclear weapons nor encourage the practice. To get around this commitment, the country began construction of ICF technology equipment so that weapons can still be studied and perfected.

Use the BB-sized pellets of deuterium and tritium, scientists created controlled implosions to merge the two elements together using a super laser. The resulting fusion creates massive energy and heat, with temperatures coming in tens of millions of degrees Fahrenheit. This reaction is why the essential equipment ICF - has the potential to find a source of energy from fusion events that are considered clean and renewable. However, there is no facility ICF has ever received more energy to be expended to actually create a fusion that is obviously a major hurdle that must be overcome.

Russia's claims to the ICF facility it is the best in the world, with the ability to deliver 2.8 megajoules of energy which is stronger than the 2.0 megajoules to the French and American Laser is rated at. If Russia can actually make this claim of fact, that would be equivalent to about 1500x more power being used at any given moment by US continental power grid. I would hate to think what the electricity bill look like when they crank up the super laser for an experiment.
