There is a new Guinness World Record for the biggest cheesecake in the world! In the ninth annual Cream Cheese Festival (because of course exist) of Lowville, NY, Philadelphia Cream Cheese created a 6,900-pound cheesecake. That is 90.25 inches in diameter and about 31 inches deep - that about 24,533 servings! Cake was unveiled by pastry chef and Food Network star Duff Goldman.
The previous record clocked in at a mere 4,703 pounds.
In the festival, approximately 10,000 attendees will eat some cake, and the remaining servings Lowville Food Pantry donations and the Watertown Salvation Army soup kitchen.
The pasta is made with Philadelphia cream cheese and sugar, with a crust of graham cracker crumbs and butter.
