GIANT TASMANIAN KING CRAB OF AUSTRALIA
The Tasmanian giant crab, Pseudocarcinus gigas (sometimes known as the giant deepwater crab, giant southern crab or queen crab)
is a species of crab that resides in the southern waters of Australia on the edge of the continental shelf mostly at depths of 140–270 metres (460–890 ft).

This giant crab is an endemic species to southern Australia, found off the coast of Perth and along the south coast to Victoria and Tasmania. This crab is not commonly seen as it generally lives in waters between 100 m and 200 m deep.
