Believe it or not, scientists have discovered a big flesh-eating plant. So big that its size is capable of eating mouse!
This specie is called ATTENBOROUGH'S PITCHER PLANT (Nepenthes attenboroughii).
It is a terrestrial upright or scrambling shrub. The stem, which may be up to 3.5 cm thick, is circular in crosssection and attains a height of up to 1.5 m.
The pouch of this plant collects water, which is a very good tool/weapon in luring insects, mice, and/or birds. Upon entrapment of the animal/s, It will issue a unique plant enzymes and acids that pulverize the trapped animal/s.
