A Chinese artist has won a place in the Guinness Book of Records after creating the longest floors carving in the world.
Zheng Chunhui, a famous wood carver, who spent four years creating artwork which is over 40ft long and made from a single tree trunk.
The scene is actually a replica of the famous Chinese painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival 'which was created over 1,000 years ago.
Although it has been many times imitate, Chunhui version, made from a single piece of tree trunk, is certainly the most wonderful.
Featuring intricate work boats, bridges, buildings and even individually carved 550 people.
Measured piece of 12.286 meters long, 3.075 meters tall is the highest point, and is 2.401 meters wide also.
The original painting, referred to as the 'Chinese Mona Lisa' due to its popularity, was completed during the Song Dynasty artist Zhang by Zeduan.
It is painted on a side scrolling and designed to look through slowly unrolling the paper from right to left , a long arm at once , like an ancient comic strip .
It is considered a great historical importance as it documents the day-to- day life of the Chinese people, both rich and poor , 900 years ago .
Some newer versions are created but with added scenes from the Ming and Qing times , according to the Chinese tradition of contemporary artists reworking ancient masterpieces .
While Chunhui version will be easier to identify for obvious reasons , it does not add any scenes from modern - day China .
The work was awarded the world record on Thursday last week as part of Guinness World Records Day , set up to commemorate the day notes in the book became the best - selling copyright book .
